Although Shreveport is my hometown, I have been in Southwest Louisiana for many years.  After graduating from Byrd High School and later marrying a South Louisiana boy, we moved to Sulphur, Louisiana where we started our family.  My husband, Ralph Welch, is a maintenance planter at Bridgestone/Firestone and we are active members of Glad Tidings Church.  We have one daughter, Mona, who has been the joy of our life, and a wonderful son by her marriage to Cecil Martin.  I have come to appreciate the culture, food, people landscaped of South Louisiana.

Most of my career has been in social work, but my daughter and I also owned and operated an interior & gift shop for many years.  Throughout the years I have enjoyed working with people, but especially like helping people in the housing market.  Whether buying, selling, remodeling or decorating, I love working in that arena.
